Department of Labor Selects Xerox to Administer Disability Compensation Programs
OWCP manages three disability compensation programs including the Federal Employees' Compensation Act (FECA) program, the Black Lung Benefits Act (BLBA) program, and the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA).
“Xerox processes a large volume of paper and electronic claims for the OWCP -- more than 60,000 each day,” said Bill Cornelius, vice president,
Xerox Federal Solutions. “With the new contract, Xerox will further simplify the billing process for OWCP and the Department of Labor so they can continue to focus on serving government employees and citizens covered by the various disability compensation programs.”
